Freeze-dried variety, our not so secret, secret. Freeze-drying is the process or removing water from our fruit + veg, the unique technology retains the fibre, vitamins and minerals of the wholefoods with minimal losses whilst allowing it to be preserved without the addition of preservatives.
How it works
Freeze-drying uses a process called lyophilization to lower the temperature of the fruit and vegetables to below freezing. This is followed by sublimation which uses a high-pressure vacuum to extract the water in the form of vapour. Due to the low temperatures the fruit and vegetables aren't damaged.
